Transfer of the deceased

New regional legislation allows a deceased to be transferred within 24 hours (without the need to use a coffin) from the place where death occurred to the "Funeral Home" or to another place, as long as this is within the Region of Lombardy. Transfer is allowed if carried out using suitable vehicles and by specialised staff.
